We deliver these products through a network of more than 245 local Distributors in the United States and 45 Distributors in Canada who average 17 years of experience with Safeguard. This extra effort ensures that our customers have access to the product expertise and personal service they need to run a successful business.

We are currently seeking a highly motivated Director of Recruiting.

Position Summary:

In this role, the Director of Recruiting will be responsible for the company’s accelerated expansion plans through managing and developing the franchise network growth by recruiting qualified candidates to become franchisees, either as a startup or assume an existing business.

The overall vision is to increase the number of franchise locations and add incremental sales for Safeguard.

The position will be based in Dallas, TX.

A secondary responsibility for the recruiter is to source candidates and manage the resale process of existing distributorships to new franchisees. This person would be responsible for the initial solicitation of the candidate, conduct an extensive interview and qualify based on established criteria.

Through these efforts, the goal is to acquire and retain long term franchisees who are engaged, productive and growing strategic-partners with Safeguard.

Description of duties:

Initial solicitation of candidates through traditional and non-traditional means, by using national job boards, social media, referral sources, franchise internet sites to source qualified candidates.

Proactively conduct outbound calls to these leads to generate interest and establish rapport.

Timely follow-up of inquiries generated through external advertising, outbound campaigns or referrals. Tracking of all inquiries.

Successful phone screening process utilizing qualifying questions to determine viability of candidates.

Conduct extensive interviews with potential franchisee candidates to determine their suitability for the Safeguard system.

Job Summary:

The Associate Product Manager is part of the team headed by the Director, Business Checks & Banking Supplies and is responsible for an assigned product line or category. The position has responsibility for developing and executing product plans that support the strategic direction and achieve the product revenue goals of the company . The Associate Product Manager serves as a product evangelist, providing vision and thought leadership around the product category and motivating the organization to collectively implement the plans for the product. The position helps manage the P&L and achieve revenue and profit goals.

Accountabilities:

Contribute to the development of the annual business plan for the deposit tickets and banking supplies product line. Create an annual marketing calendar and other tools that outline and track product initiatives.

Analyze customers and competitors and stay on top of market trends. Conduct detailed market analysis and work with market research to acquire market knowledge necessary to make sound decisions regarding the business. Identify key issues and make recommendations to managers for consideration in future planning.

Research and identify customer needs to support the development of new or improved products. Thoroughly understand current product mix and identify enhancements that improve competitive positioning. Participate in new product development initiatives by identifying new products and new features that will help drive future revenue success.

Apply knowledge of the "4 P's" of marketing to create and execute individual product plans. Make recommendations regarding the optimal marketing mix.

Analyze pricing opportunities and implement in appropriate channels. Determine the impact of pricing changes and apply learnings to future changes.

Explore current and new distribution channel optimization scenarios. Thoroughly understand the role of the Internet in building the small business community and driving revenue growth.

Serve as liaison with key stakeholder groups across the company to move product initiatives forward. Responsible for coordinating project teams of functional experts to accomplish project goals.

Measure the results of product initiatives and make recommendations regarding future implementations.

Collaborate with integrated marketing services team to implement effective promotion strategies and programs for assigned products. Participate in creative brainstorming sessions to generate new ideas and approaches.

Serve as liaison to Sales for product training tools and content across all channels. Review merchandising in all advertising channels to ensure proper positioning and accuracy.

New Business Development -

Primary responsibility is to pursue and capture new business opportunities for Deluxe via the Dealer Channel from key strategic large accounts. The function of the job is to qualify prospective customers using a variety of tactics and develop executive level relationships that lead to closing large scale strategic opportunities. Leads the sales pitch development, process, delivers compelling presentations, uncovers and handles objections, plays a key role in negotiating program details (products/pricing), understands customer requirements and works with business partners to onboard new customers. Post-sale work with account manager developing clear, innovative plans for maximizing business with new accounts.

Accountabilities:

· Prospecting: Identify sales opportunities from assigned accounts/territory via cold calls, pipeline development and direct contact with accounts and face to face meetings, webinars, etc.

· Presenting: Work with Sales Ops Manager and other partners to prepare relevant pitch presentations and then deliver compelling presentation

Account Development: Develop and manage sales pipeline activity from new accounts and provide sales forecasts as needed to applicable Channel and Enterprise partners. Qualify new opportunities and work with corporate partners to develop sales pitch to win new business. Partner with Marketing, Training, Inbound, IT to continuously find ways to improve support for large accounts. At the point where the new accounts are onboard and operational (generally within 4 months of closing the sale), account will be passed on to the National Account Managers with revenue being credited to the BDE for approximately 18 month.

Leadership role when on boarding new accounts: Communicate account needs and requirements and work with Sales Operation Manager and applicable Channel and Enterprise partners to develop a launch plan.

Product and Service Knowledge: Work with channel program managers and Enterprise partners to understand and keep current on all Deluxe products and services in order to determine a fit with prospective and established accounts.

Issue Resolution: Play a role in issue resolution to satisfy account needs. Escalate issues as needed to Director, Sales Ops Manager or other applicable enterprise partners

Marketing and Sales Collateral: Participate in account sales collateral proofing process to ensure account needs are met

Communicate Effectively: Build relationships and collaborate with peers, managers and co-workers across all Deluxe sites. Openly communicate, provide timely feedback and shares ideas. Participate in staff meetings.

Provide timely sales reports and other documentation as required.

Forecast and administer operating and capital budget for area of direct responsibility. Understand and integrate best practices and align with the ITIL framework and Lean methodologies as it relates to area of responsibility. Ensure environment is secure and stable. Keep abreast of support services and related technology trends. Understand customer requirements and align support efforts with business direction. Meet or exceed performance metrics and contribute to the success of IT service performance. Complete projects and support on time and within budget. Ensure timely completion of projects by reviewing project activity, adjusting priorities and resources as needed. Adhere to standards and guidelines, policies and procedures including management of incidents, support, security, financial controls, and HR management. .

Responsibilities:

Lean Manufacturing Engineer -

Deluxe Corporation is looking for a seasoned Lean Manufacturing Engineer with excellent knowledge of Lean techniques and proven Kaizen leadership to help introduce and implement Lean practices. The purpose of this role is to assist in leading, managing and guiding the lean manufacturing evolution within Deluxe Corporation. This role integrates with the Deluxe Lean Enterprise System to develop and deploy lean knowledge, culture, principles, tools and techniques across the corporation. The Lean Manufacturing Engineer defines and supports Deluxe’s Lean strategy and associated continuous improvement programs, structures, and activities (TPM, work teams, just-in-time, built-in quality, continuous improvement.)

Responsibilities:

Lead Lean integration and deployment at the plant level which could include facilitating leaning activities (kaizen blitzes, action plan reviews). Support, track, assess and report progress on the implementation and use of lean manufacturing techniques within the plant.

With the Sr. Managment at the site, develop strategy for implementation of Lean. Evaluate and prioritize needs based on input from various groups of stakeholders within the organization.

Create and maintain a Lean toolkit that can include: 5S, Kaizen, quick change over, value stream mapping, mistake proofing and line balancing.

Develop and facilitate joint projects with customers and suppliers as needed to support key product-based value streams.

Provide strong participation and coordination with the Deluxe Lean Enterprise System. Includes the involvement in training, sharing best practices with other company businesses and participation on focus groups that result in sustaining a position as a leading implementer of Lean Methodologies.
