The Client Loyalty Consultant will be responsible for selling in partnership with an assigned set of Account Managers and Business Development Executives

We are currently looking for an experienced 1^st Shift Picker Packer in our Lithia Springs, GA distribution center.

Under the direction of the Shipping Team Manager, the Picker-Packer is responsible for the accurate and timely picking and/or packing of orders.

Duties:

Picking:

Responsible to go to each location on the pick ticket or hand held device and retrieve products.

Verify location, quantity, product number, and product description

Transport product to specific areas based on type of pick, such as batch, single order, or rush order.

Acquires good knowledge of the SAP system, products, warehouse locations, policies, procedures and shipping department expectations

Packing

Ensure that the product matches what is on the pick ticket.

Ensure the shipping address is a valid “ship-to-address”

Check order for drop shipments, substitute items or special instructions.

Repack product in appropriate sized box.

Complete content label(s) and ensure all paperwork and cartons are marked accordingly.

Keep cartons under 70 pounds and use appropriate lifting techniques.

Place the packed order on the conveyer belt for flow to manifest area.

Other:

Responsible for the operation of the pallet wrapping machine.

Responsible for operation of shrink wrap machine (heat tunnel).

Responsible for the use and understanding of the manifest procedures.

Operates and performs daily checks on fork trucks and cherry pickers after successively completing the in-house fork truck training.

Loads trailers or containers as needed.

Sort and batch customer orders for efficient picking.

Assist with cycle counts and restock as needed.

Assist in training new employees.

Make sure the distribution center is a safe and clean work environment at all times. May be assigned facilities maintenance duties as needed.
